Muhammad & the Sword:-

Muhammad - who was rarely able to explain and/or defend his ideas, 'inspirations' and 'revelations' through reasoning and logic - invariably resorted to the violence of the sword as the final arbitrator of any discussion, debate or argument.

It was entirely through the violence of the sword that Muhammad's version of 'Islam' made any impact whatsoever on the pagan Arabs and all others on the face of the earth.

After all, he was not able to 'convert' more than 100 people to his new cult even after thirteen years of hard effort and exhortation in Mecca.

It is a very significant and remarkable fact that the Meccan Suras contain no mention of holy war or fighting the polytheists, whereas the Madinan ones are full of verses obligating his followers to do so.

It was after all his abject failure to achieve by peaceful means, that he decided to resort to the use of force to put through his agenda and impose his will.

To the discerning mind, there is no tyranny more pernicious, more cruel, more irrational and more soul- destroying than the denial to human beings of their freedom to believe and to think independently.

It is precisely these freedoms, that Fundamentalist Muhammadan Islam necessarily involves trampling on; the most precious of human rights, namely the right to freedom of thought and belief.

It is precisely because of this fanaticism, that Fundamentalist Muhammadan states, could never rise beyond the values and traditions of 7th century Arabia. The Taliban regime of Afghanistan was a stellar example of such a governance.

It is an incontestable fact, that the Arab component of the so-called
'Islamic Civilization' is minor compared to that of the non Arab Muslims.

In fact, 'Islamic Civilzation' invariably excelled whenever the state did not follow the fundamentals of Muhammadan Islam and NEVER because of it.

Sahih Muslim HadithHadith 4681        Narrated byAbdullah ibn Qays
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Surely, the gates of Paradise are under the shadows of the swords. A man in a shabby condition got up and said: AbuMusa, did you hear the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) say this? He said: Yes. (The narrator said): He returned to his friends and said: I greet you (a farewell greeting). Then he broke the sheath of his sword, threw it away, advanced with his (naked) sword towards the enemy and fought (them) with it until he was slain.

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.73        Narrated byAbdullah bin Abi Aufa
Allah's Apostle said, "Know that Paradise is under the shades of swords."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 4.210        Narrated bySalim Abu An Nadr
The freed slave of 'Umar bin 'Ubaidullah who was 'Umar's clerk: 'Abdullah bin Abi Aufa wrote him (i.e. 'Umar) a letter that contained the following:
"Once Allah's Apostle (during a holy battle), waited till the sun had declined and then he got up among the people and said, "O people! Do not wish to face the enemy (in a battle) and ask Allah to save you (from calamities) but if you should face the enemy, then be patient and let it be known to you that Paradise is under the shades of swords." He then said, "O Allah! The Revealer of the (Holy) Book, the Mover of the clouds, and Defeater of Al-Ahzab (i.e. the clans of infidels), defeat them infidels and bestow victory upon us."

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 9.14        Narrated byAl Ahnaf bin Qais
I went to help that man (i.e., 'Ali), and on the way I met Abu Bakra who asked me, "Where are you going?" I replied, "I am going to help that man." He said, "Go back, for I heard Allah's Apostle saying, 'If two Muslims meet each other with their swords then (both) the killer and the killed one are in the (Hell) Fire.' I said, 'O Allah's Apostle! It is alright for the killer, but what about the killed one?' He said, 'The killed one was eager to kill his opponent.' "

Sahih Al-Bukhari HadithHadith 9.164        Narrated byAbu Musa
The Prophet said, "I saw in a dream that I waved a sword and it broke in the middle, and behold, that symbolized the casualties the believers suffered on the Day (of the battle) of Uhud. Then I waved the sword again, and it became better than it had ever been before, and behold, that symbolized the Conquest (of Mecca) which Allah brought about and the gathering of the believers."

Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 4018        Narrated byAbdullah ibn Abbas
The Prophet (peace be upon him) acquired his sword, Dhul-Fiqar, as private booty at the battle of Badr.
Ibn Majah transmitted it, and Tirmidhi added that it was that about which he had the vision at the battle of Uhud.

Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 4795        Narrated byKa'b ibn Malik
Ka'b said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), "Allah has sent down concerning poetry what He has sent down."  The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, "The believer strives with his sword and his tongue. By Him in Whose hand my soul is, it is as though you are shooting at them with it like the spraying of arrows."
It is transmitted in Sharh as-Sunnah. In al-Isti'ab by Ibn AbdulBarr Ka'b said, "Messenger of Allah, what is your opinion about poetry?" and he replied,
"The believer strives with his sword and his tongue."

*** With 'his tongue' means through DECEPTION ***

Al-Tirmidhi HadithHadith 6248        Narrated byAbuUbaydah
AbuUbaydah heard Allah's Messenger say, "Khalid is one of the swords of Allah, Who is Great and Glorious, and he is the fine warrior of the tribe."    Ahmad transmitted it.

*** This is about Khalid ibn al Walid who massacred and terrorized 'unbelieving' Arabs to make them SUBMIT to 'Islam' ***

Sunan of Abu-DawoodHadith 4403        Narrated byUbadah ibn as-Samit
The tradition mentioned above (No. 4401) has also been transmitted by Ubadah ibn as-Samit through a different chain of narrators.  This version has: The people said to Sa'd ibn Ubadah: AbuThabit, the prescribed punishments have been revealed: if you find a man with your wife, what will you do?  He said: I shall strike them with a sword so much that they become silent (i.e. die). Should I go and gather four witnesses? Until that (time) the need would be fulfilled.  So they went away and gathered with the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) and said: Apostle of Allah! did you not see AbuThabit. He said so-and-so.  The Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) said: The sword is a sufficient witness. He then said: No, no, a furious and a jealous man may follow this course.

*** So much for Muhammad's type of justice. Even the earlier stipulation that four witnesses are needed are now discarded and betrayed instead to the injustice of the sword ***

Al-Muwatta Hadith  Hadith 46.6  The Prohibition against Talking about the Decree
Yahya related to me from Malik that his paternal uncle, Abu Suhayl ibn Malik said, "I was a prisoner with Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz. He said, 'What do you think about these Qadariyya (fatalists)?' I said, 'My opinion is that one should ask them to turn from wrong action, if they will do so. If not, subject them to the sword.' Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz said, 'That is my opinion.
Malik added, "That is my opinion also."

*** All the Ahadith above are crystal clear in their assertions that Muhammad's 'justice' and intentions, were always achieved though violence and NEVER through dialogue and debate.

His followers, all over the world,  have been doing the same, unto this day ***
